Projects have included documenting the San Diego Padres, the Ballpark District Redevelopment and the expansion of the San Diego Convention Center. The 1998 National League Championship for the Padres culminated with a book project called "A Season to Remember". The 1999 spring training season included a stint with entertainer Garth Brooks as a member on the Padres’ roster. The latest book project in 2006 was to doccument the monumental undertaking for the renovation of the historic US Grant Hotel, the oldest existing hotel in San Diego.

Zwink also worked on two other book projects including a chronicle of the San Diego Convention Center expansion. Photography began with the enormous empty lot highlighted by the pile driver to the burgeoning steel superstructure. Zwink has also teamed with San Diego graphic artist Chris McGirr on part of the SDCC project to create a series of posters from the project.

With the voter approval of the Ballpark District Redevelopment, Zwink has also documented the 60 square block area which will include the San Diego Padres Ballpark and the Ballpark District downtown. Current conditions and aerial perspectives are targets of the documentation as the redevelopment effort evolved. This body of work also was included in a book about the construction of the ballpark.

Currently Zwink is documenting the evolution of boxing promoter Ringside Promotions of Sycuan. Within the first two year Ringside has produced two World Champions in Joan Guzman and Julio Diaz.
